GROUNDSMAN CONFERENCE AT BTME

ECB Pitches Consultant, Chris Wood, will lead a session on cricket developments

At BTME in Harrogate from 19-21 January 2016 visit the IOG's stand (Q44) to sign up for sessions covering cricket, rugby and natural v synthetic sports surfaces at the inaugural half-day Groundsman Conference as part of the show’s Continue to Learn programme.

The conference is designed for all turf professionals who look after sportsturf surfaces whether it be a stadium, school or park; cricket, football, rugby, golf, horse racing, bowls etc.

The Groundsman Conference will feature sessions on:

Cricket: Chris Wood, Pitches Consultant for England and Wales Cricket Board will discuss the latest research, topical news and current innovations in the cricket world.

Rugby: Ted Mitchell, Facilities Technical Manager for the Rugby Football Union will discuss the developments in playing surfaces for rugby.

Natural vs Synthetic: This session will feature advocates for both natural and synthetic surfaces giving the audience the opportunity to consider what constitutes the most suitable or best playing surfaces.

IOG and BIGGA members can pre-book for free attendance. When booking on the day this cost will rise to for members or £30 + VAT or £50 + VAT for non members.
