AND FINALLY . . .
Gareth Bale to build golf course in his back garden
Real Madrid and Wales superstar Gareth Bale is reportedly planning to build a three-hole golf course in his back garden at his Vale of Glamorgan home.
Wales Online reports that the forward who is obsessed with golf, intends to model the three holes after world famous holes from courses around the world. Apprantely the intended replicas will be of the Postage Stamp at Troon, the Amen Corner 11th at Augusta, home of The Masters, and the 17th at Sawgrass, venue for the unofficial fourth Major, The Players Championship.
Bale is quoted by Wales Online as saying, "“I try to play as much golf as possible.
"In fact, I’m obsessed with it. I’ve not really thought about what I’ll be doing in 20 years when I’m retired from football, but, hopefully, I will be playing golf."
It's also reported that Bale has "sounded out top notch groundsmen in the South Wales area to become a full-time greenkeeper".
Maybe Paul Burgess can help him with the interview process?
