National Sprayer Testing Scheme

Spring is a pivotal time for farmers to fine tune their pesticide and fertiliser use to maximise crop yield and nutrient efficiency. Welsh Water want to work with farming communities in our drinking water catchments to explore how supporting good farming practices can benefit both farm efficiency and water quality. In partnership with the NSTS and VI we are delivering a series of workshops on nutrient and pesticide essentials to help farmers get the most of their applications. From the importance of application planning to machinery maintenance, set up and testing, this will be a hugely worthwhile workshop for all farmers and contractors to attend.
