Lady's Mile Holiday Park is a family run park located in one of the most beautiful parts of Devon less than a mile from Dawlish Warren.

Total area of the site stretches to 65 acres with the top of the site consisting of an extensive woodland area. Back in February the park took a beating from the storms and they lost a lot of trees resulting in a massive clearing up exercise.

Jason Jeffery is co-owner and takes up the story, "At the time we only had a 6" chipper that was not man enough to cope with the work so we hired in a much larger machine. All we could get at short notice was a GreenMech and I was very impressed. In the past I would only have looked at one make and it wouldn't have been GreenMech, not for any particular reason other than personal knowledge."

He hired the GreenMech over the period of a week and then called for a demonstration of the company's ChipMaster 220 TMP wood chipper. Jason uses the dealer MST in his area for most of his machinery needs who, in this case, called in the specialist knowledge of Julian Cullis directly from GreenMech in March 2014. Because of the urgency of his need for the machine Jason committed Julian to the sale of the demonstration unit - on the spot!

"Once Julian had shown us what the chipper could really do we were hooked," he said. "It was also opportune that Julian could give us product safety demonstrations and show all the team how to use it correctly and safely."

Jason feels strongly that chipping the woodland waste they have is a much better option than tracking it away and burning it, which is what they used to do a few years ago. Additionally, the woodchip bi-product has come in ideal for the garden areas.
