JANE RETIRES FROM CAMPEYS
Following 25 years service

Jane Middleton, Company Secretary at Campey Turf Care Systems has retired after 25 years loyal service.

L-R: Jean Campey, Jane Middleton and Richard Campey

Jane also had responsibility for sales ordering and processing. She will be replaced by Julia Campey as Company secretary and a new member of staff Sharon Postill, appointed to take over sales ordering and administration.

Sharon Postill

Jane joined Campeys as a part time accounts assistant and rapidly became an integral part of the company, becoming a full time accounts administrator within a year.

As the company grew, Jane’s role expanded with it. She held a position of trust and friendship as well as a valued colleague to Managing Director Richard Campey and all of the Campey team. She will be sorely missed by all of them.

Richard said “When I met her all those years ago she demonstrated a natural patience and focus through her passion for horses. She trained and competed in dressage. This ability to focus on the detail coupled with her accounting and administrative skills, made her an invaluable addition to the Campey Team.”

He went on to describe Jane as having a happy and pleasant personality that endeared her to everyone she met. “I have only ever had two cross words with Jane” he said “and she was in the right on both occasions. I would like to thank her for all her hard work and support over the years and wish her every happiness in her retirement.”

Campey staff & suppliers staff from over the years attending Jane's retirement party

To celebrate Jane’s retirement, Richard and Jean Campey invited staff and suppliers from the early years to join them for a party to wish Jane all the best for her future.

Jane and her long term partner will shortly be moving to Aberdeenshire, where they will have time to indulge their other passion; golf.
