SPRAYER SALES APPOINTMENT
For Cooper Pegler and Berthoud

Ian Sutton

Hozelock has appointed spraying equipment specialist Ian Sutton to handle sales of Cooper Pegler and Berthoud professional hand-held sprayers in the UK and Ireland.

He brings to the role 20 years' experience in the supply of high quality knapsack sprayers and a clear understanding of the benefits to operators of using spray application equipment produced to high standards of design, material quality and specification.

"In my previous roles with Pentair Hypro, a leading distributor of Exel's Berthoud hand-held sprayers to the trade, the Cooper Pegler range was my main competitor," notes Ian. "Now I'm relishing the challenge of handling sales of the industry's two leading professional sprayer product lines."

The Cooper Pegler products have been manufactured alongside the Berthoud professional range for the past eight years by Hozelock Exel. The two product lines have distinct features but one thing common to both, says Ian, is that they are built to a specification, not down to a price.

"That's important to professional organisations who want a reliable sprayer capable of standing up to the rough and tumble of daily use," he says. "But it's also important to operators that detailed design features make the sprayers comfortable and less tiring to use over long hours."

In his new role, Ian works with a network of independent dealers throughout the UK and Ireland supplying either or both of the two product lines, together with replacement nozzles and other wearing parts.
