STRAUTMANN SERVICE ROLE
Opico appoint David Mein as Service Manager

David Mein

DAVID MEIN has been appointed as Service Manager for the new range of Strautmann products, following OPICO’s successful launch as the UK’s sole distributor of this leading forage and feeding technology brand.

In his new role, David will be responsible for liaising with the factory in Germany and providing technical support in the UK. He will be working with dealers to provide expert advice and training on the range of machinery, including trailed and self-propelled vertical auger diet feeders, forage wagons, and rear discharge muck spreaders.

David has spent all his working life in the agricultural engineering trade and joined OPICO just over a year ago as Maschio Gaspardo Service Manager. Prior to that he had worked as Service Manager at the Claas dealers, Rickerby Ltd, for eighteen years.

Commenting James Woolway, OPICO’s Managing Director said, "Strautmann is a proactive company which is investing heavily in research and development. David’s broad experience will be invaluable in making sure this knowledge is effectively transferred back to UK dealers and customers."

David will also retain his previous role as OPICO’s Northern Technical Support providing dealers and customers with expert advice on the range of OPICO brands including HE-VA, Maschio, Gaspardo, Sky drills and Strautmann.
