AND FINALLY . . .
Hay, that's my car!

An accident involving a tractor carrying a trailer full of haybales ploughed into parked cars caused chaos in Morpeth, Northumberland, reported Chronicle Live this week.

The local paper said the driver of the car and his two dogs managed to escape the accident.

The street was closed by the police following the incident while the hay bales were cleared.

A Northumbria police spokesman said: "Police received a report at 1.56pm to a crash on Newgate Street, involving a tractor pulling a trailer full of hay bales.

"The tractor hit parked cars. The road was blocked hay bales. There is no reports of any serious injury. The road remains closed and local diversions are in place."
