CUB CADET HOLD DEALER DAYS
'A brolly good success'!

Cub Cadet’s 2016 trade days proved to be incredibly popular throughout August and September – despite the Great British weather!

The dealer days took place over five days and launched the 2016 new products to over 250 registered delegates taking the opportunity to get hands on and try them out.

Cub Cadet trade days fought off the Great British weather to bring new products to dealers

New products showcased included the CC114HA – a modern design rider with an electric start, hydrostatic drive, LED light for safety, side deflector and mulching kit. It also features a brand new Intelligent parking assistance (IPA) which decreases the speed of the mini rider in reverse by 50%.

Visitors were also introduced to the new 900 series ride-on mower featuring Cub Cadet engines and has the option of either AutoDrive™ transmission or hydrostatic drive. The new models have soft touch steering wheels, luxury high back seats, a step through frame, RevTEK technology and cruise control.

New developments also included upgrades to the My Speed petrol mower range, such as the addition of Briggs & Stratton engines with Auto Choke, the My Speed drive system, a central height adjustment, double ball bearings and an optional mulch kit.

It was also announced that the 2016 range will see Briggs & Stratton’s InStart battery starting system being added to the Triloy mower. The 53cm variable self-propelled CC53SPBVIS mower will be available with a Briggs & Stratton 775 direct overhead valve 161cc EXi InStart engine. It will also be available on the CC46SOBVIS, with a 163cc 675 EXi InStart engine and a 46cm cutting width.

Nick Hills, general manager commented: “We’re delighted with the success of our dealer days. The 2016 new products were very well received and all feedback was incredibly positive. Even the weather didn’t affect things, we just had to put our Cub Cadet umbrellas to use! The locations gave us a great space to show off the products, whilst also giving some special experiences to our dealers to say thank you for everything they do for us”.

Simon Gibson from Easy Life Garden Machinery was delighted to win the chance to sit in the pilot’s seat on board the famous Concorde at the Cub Cadet dealer day in Cheshire

The events took place at the Yeovil Fleet Air Arm Museum; Loseley Park in Guildford; the Imperial War Museum in Duxford; the Great Barn in Aynho which also included clay pigeon shooting; and the Concorde Conference Centre in Manchester, where guests received a tour of Concorde.

Dealers who attended the trade days were also entered into a prize draw to win red-letter day vouchers and choose from experiences such as skyjumping, a spa weekend, or driving experiences including Aston Martins and Lambourginis. The winners were:
