NEW SERVICE MANAGER FOR C&O
David Smith joins dealership

David Smith has joined C&O Tractors as Blandford Depot Service Manager.

David Smith with C&O Tractors Group Sales and Depot Manager Dick Spencer

David brings to C&O a wealth of experience in agricultural engineering, starting with an apprenticeship with a Case dealer in Wiltshire while studying at Lackham College. After four years at the dealership working on mainly 2100 series combines and Quadtrac tracked tractors David travelled over to Australia to continue his combine work, taking a territory after sales position with Case IH in Sydney looking after Victoria and Tasmania. Returning to the UK David took the service managers position with the same dealership in Wiltshire where he started his career, building on his baler, self propelled sprayer and tractor knowledge.

"I am very pleased to be joining the C&O Tractors team down at Blandford and very much looking forward to meeting our customers over the next few months. So far I've been very impressed with the workshop facilities and level of engineer training on all supported brands.

"We also have engineers that have joined us from other manufacturers with vast product knowledge allowing us to undertake repairs on the full range of machinery used by farmers within every sector. I have a good understanding of the industry, working with the engineers based at Blandford we will strive to ensure problems are resolved quickly and efficiently - keeping machines working throughout the year," said David.

Welcoming David to C&O Tractors Group Sales and Depot Manager Dick Spencer said, "David's appointment as Service Manager is critical to the future success of C&O Tractors. Using his previous experience David is already making a difference in raising the standard of service that we offer our customers. Our objective is to provide professional servicing and repairs, carried out by trained and experience engineers, supported by premium manufacturers at affordable prices."
