According to figures released by the AEA, the total tractor power sold in the first 6 months of 2015 was 921k hp - a decrease of 12.5%.

The average size of unit was 154.4 hp which is a 1.8% increase on a year earlier.

AEA Economist Chris Evans said, "An analysis by broad power group shows the increase in the largest size of 241 hp and over but all other sectors registered a decrease when compared with the same period last year."
