GRASS GROUP TAKE ON GKB
Exclusive UK distribution of machines

The Grass Group confirmed at this year's SALTEX that they will be taking over the exclusive UK distribution of GKB Machines from the Netherlands.

The GKB range offers groundcare solutions with top dressers, fraise mowers and aeration equipment through to a range of products designed specifically for the care and maintenance of synthetic surfaces.

Started in 1946, GKB initially cut reeds, rushes and brushwood for industrial customers in their home market. It was during the late eighties that the company diversified into developing sports field maintenance machinery, largely manufactured in their headquarters in Barendrecht.

Over the years the products have developed into a broad portfolio of machinery including dragmats, top dressers and fraise mowers for sports surfaces as well as aerators, brushes and cleaning equipment for artificial turf.

Commenting on the new partnership, The Grass Group's General Manager Jeremy Vincent said, "The quality and range of machines available from GKB fits very neatly within our existing portfolio of turf care machinery. It also provides us with new opportunities to extend our offering in the artificial and semi-artificial turf sector."
