BIGGEST EVER GIE-EXPO
Show breaks records this year

This year's GIE-EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky has broken the record it set in 2014 for attendence - with over 20,000 visitors through the doors.

Kris Kiser, President and CEO of show organisers the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) said on day two of the show, "I am so happy with this year's results. With our initial on-site numbers we're looking at dealer registrations up 9%, contractor registrations up 20%, parks amenity and forest workers up 8%, with total registrations up 16%.

"This will definitely be our largest attendance ever, which is such a terrific acheivement. And the great news is that we are in for the long haul. OPEI is commited up till 2021 and our Hardscape partners have just signed on with us through 2018.

"And next year we will be expanding. We will rearrange the layout somewhat which will allow us to free up some space to accomodate the companies who want to be here next year. And we have plans to offer even more to our dealer visitors."
