DEALER CELEBRATES 40TH
Loch Lomond based Fraser C Robb

On May 31st Fraser C Robb will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

This will be a busy weekend for the business, having exhibited the day before at The Drymen Show.

Fraser C Robb team

Forty years on and Fraser C Robb’s showroom is at the same location, just outside Drymen on the Glasgow to Stirling road. This is actually the spot where Fraser Robb served out his apprenticeship after leaving school, before returning to start his own business.

The company says that over the years the business has grown significantly, without losing their personality or high level of personal service. Customers include farmers, councils, estates as well as many domestic customers.

Fraser C Robb has also provided much needed rural jobs, with a strong track record of training and developing apprentices into highly skilled engineers. That support and career progression has instilled a strong loyalty amongst their team, with a low turnover of staff.

Customers value the ability to walk into the showroom and get an honest appraisal of their needs and an expert recommendation of the right product. High levels of after sales support, training and service have all helped to build a loyalty amongst customers.

As Fraser C Robb celebrate their 40th anniversary they are launching a new national business called Garden Lawnmowers Direct. This national sales website for garden equipment will offer a difference, helping the consumer to find the right product for them, so wherever they are in the UK they will benefit from the same level of expertise as if they had walked into the Drymen showroom.

As founder Fraser Robb explains the business is all set for its next 40 years, "The most satisfying development in the last 40 years has been the arrival of my children Struan and Lorna into the business. I never took this for granted and both have brought new ideas into the company. Initiatives such as the launch of Garden Lawnmowers Direct ideally position Fraser C Robb for continued success and a very exciting future."
