RANSOMES NEW PRODUCT MANAGER
Lee Kristensen joins the Ipswich team

Lee Kristensen has been promoted to the role of Product Manager at Ransomes Jacobsen, one of the leading manufacturers of commercial mowers, turf maintenance equipment and compact utility and industrial vehicles, based at Ipswich in Suffolk, United Kingdom.

Reporting to Richard Comely, Director of Marketing and Product Management, Lee will manage the development and enhancement of all Ipswich designed and built Ransomes and Jacobsen branded products and liaise with colleagues at the Charlotte facility in North Carolina, USA with regard to the Jacobsen product line.

In 2004 he graduated from Loughborough University with a Product Design and Management Engineering degree, which included a year placement with 3M Healthcare. He subsequently joined Kocurek Excavators, specialists in bespoke modifications to excavators used in the construction and demolition industries, as a Junior Design Engineer in his home town of Ipswich.

He then spent a year travelling in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia before returning to the UK in 2006 to his old employer where he moved through the ranks to become a Senior Design Engineer. In March 2012 he was offered and accepted the position of Senior Engineer at Ransomes Jacobsen, working on the development of a new range of products for the grounds care industry.

Commenting on the appointment Richard Comely said, "Lee has an excellent technical background in a related industry and will bring further expertise to the Product Management team here in Ipswich. We have some exciting product developments in the pipeline and he will be a great asset to the business, going forward."
