CHANDLERS HOLD OPENING SHOW
For new Lutterworth depot

Chandlers (Farm Equipment) Ltd. held an opening show for their new depot at Lutterworth in Leicestershire on Thursday 7th & Friday 8th March.

With poor weather making field work impossible, there was an excellent attendance from the local farming community who had come along to meet Chandlers new sales, parts and service team, and check out the special offers available from Chandlers suppliers on the day.

Chandlers, established in 1935 and based previously at 5 depots across Lincolnshire, are long standing Massey Ferguson and latterly Fendt and Challenger dealers, who have recently been appointed as distributors for Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Challenger in the Lutterworth area, expanding their existing AGCO territory considerably to the west and covering a larger area of grassland and mixed farming.

Supported at the show by CAT with their telescopic handlers and wheel loaders and the full line up of Chandlers regular implement manufacturers, including Kuhn, Lemken, Opico He-Va, McConnel, AS trailers, Standen-Pearson, Strimech, Javelin, Berthoud, Chafer, Yamaha & Logic, there was plenty for customers to look at besides the large amount of tractors from AGCO. There were also some excellent special offers from Chandlers parts department and rural suppliers in the large parts and machinery display area.

From the positive comments received on the day from both the customers and suppliers it appeared as though they were pleased at the arrival of Chandlers in the territory.

Gavin Pell, Agricultural Sales Manager, said, "Chandlers are very proud to have been appointed distributors for Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Challenger in the area surrounding our new Lutterworth depot, and with the popularity of the MF, Fendt and Challenger products we are confident it will be a success and hopefully reward our investment in the facilities that should set us up in the area for many years to come."
