HEADING TO SAN ANTONIO
Strong UK presence at US Golf Show

There will be the biggest ever representation of UK companies at this month's Golf Industry Show in Texas, with many of them receiving grant funding through UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).

Debbie Dale of the AEA says, "We are delighted that there will be a strong British showing at San Antonio, 15 companies in all, with four companies (ESP Leisure, Ground2Control, Durabunker, Thatchaway) exhibiting for  the first time."

The annual Golf Industry Show (GIS), organised by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) will feature hundreds of exhibitors spanning thousands of square feet of exhibit space, and gives superintendents, owners, technicians and other golf management professionals the opportunity to network and discuss the latest products and services in turf and facility care.

The seventh largest city in the United States, San Antonio, captures the spirit of Texas, and has retained its sense of history and tradition, while carefully blending in cosmopolitan progress. The city has always been a crossroads and a meeting place. The sounds and flavors of Native Americans, Old Mexico, Germans, the Wild West, African-Americans and the Deep South mingle and merge. Over thirty-one million visitors a year delight in the discovery of San Antonio's charms.
