APF EXHIBITION OPENS THURSDAY
Record number of exhibitors
The organisers of this week's APF 2016 (Ragley Estate, Warwickshire, September 15-17) the UK’s largest forestry, woodland, arboricultural, trees and timber event, say this year's show will be the biggest and best event they have ever staged in their 42 year history.
Over 300 exhibitors have now booked sites, which is more than the record set at APF 2014 and the numbers are still climbing. Organisers report that advance ticket sales are selling well to the anticipated 18000 visitors who will attend over the three days.
The event will showcase the very best state-of-the-art machinery available and reflect everything that happens in the modern working woodland, forest and tree work sectors, everything from seed to sawmill. During the event over 300 tonnes of timber will be harvested and processed by the very latest hi-tec machines. The show not only represents the very hi-tec but all aspects of woodland and tree management and timber processing. Exhibition Secretary, Ian Millward said, "It is a fantastic achievement to break the 300 exhibitor barrier and is a reflection that the trade recognises that the APF Exhibition is the place to exhibit to sell their machinery, equipment and services to the industry." There will be over 2 1/2 miles of working machinery frontage and more than £30 million of machinery on show Full details of the exhibition, maps, booking forms and a list of exhibitors booked to date are on the exhibitor section of the website.
