Jacobsen has made a $5,000 donation to the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), the philanthropic organisation of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
With the donation, Jacobsen becomes a member in the EIFG’s Platinum Tee Club for donors who contribute $5,000 or more annually.

It is also recognised at the Champion’s Club level of the EIFG’s Cumulative Giving Programme, recognising donors who have contributed between $250,000 and $499,999 since 1987.
Jacobsen is also part of GCSAA’s Partner Recognition Programme as a Silver Partner. Silver Partners invest resources at the $100,000 level.
“GCSAA and the EIFG have a great friend in Jacobsen,” said Rhett Evans, the GCSAA’s Chief Executive Officer.
“Their generous donation for on-going support of our research-based activities not only benefits our members, but the golf industry as a whole.”
David Withers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jacobsen, said: “The support and research the GCSAA and the EIFG provide our industry is vital for our collective growth and success.
“We proudly support both organisations and their dedication to superintendents, golf facilities and the game.”
