Aitkens has welcomed Matt Porter to their team as Technical Sales Representative in North West England.

Matt has gained experience within the industry in his role as a greenkeeper at Ingol Golf Club, groundsman at Leigh Sports Village and trading experience selling line marking machines and paints.

More recently, the 26-year-old worked for a contractor, where he had the overall responsibility of growing in new constructions.

Speaking on the new appointment, Richard Aitken said: “Because we work directly with clubs and contractors it’s vital to have someone who knows the different demands of each sector, making him able to advise from first hand experience.

“Matt has come to us after a successful 2015 that has seen our Award fertiliser range deliver impressive results across the UK. We are sure that he can help continue our growth into 2016 and beyond.”
