Lely Turfcare, the sole UK distributors of Toro and TYM Tractors, has strengthened its sales team in the Surrey and Berkshire areas with the arrival of a familiar face.

Mike Taylor previously spent two-years as a Lely sales rep for the grounds sector in the East of England, and he now brings his turfcare machinery knowledge and experience to the golf sector in the South East.

Mike, who was an experienced turf machinery dealer for 25 years, is operating out of Lely Turfcare South East and says of his new role: “Toro is a terrific brand and this area is terrific, too, full of fantastic golf clubs I can’t wait to meet and start working with.

“This role presented an opportunity for me to change the focus of my career and do something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and that is to work with Toro and Lely’s golf customers,” he continues. “I have worked with Toro products for many years and genuinely believe they are the best and I’m looking forward to working with the Lely Turfcare team to develop the golf business in the area.”
