ECOSOL TURFCARE INVEST
In Shelton Sportsturf Drainage machinery

Supertrencher 625 running at Ecosol Turfcare

Ecosol Turfcare, the Wiltshire based sports turf drainage and aeration contractors have made a major investment in Shelton Sportsturf Drainage Ltd's specialist machinery.

The investment in the Shelton Supertrencher+ 625, the 3 tonne fast flow hopper and sand placement hopper has been prompted by the increase in demand from Ecosol Turfcare's clients for specialist drainage work.

Bretton King, Managing Director of Ecosol Turfcare explained the reason for purchase. "Our business has expanded year-on-year in our 15 year history and consequently we are being asked to do a more diverse range of tasks and provide a different range of services as contractors.

"We have been approached to do drainage work before and have sub-contracted it to partners (who have carried out the specific drainage operations we were unable to do) whilst we do the other aspects that such a contract demands.

"The point was reached during winter 2013-14 where we were asked to tender for a number of projects and, once awarded to us purchase of specialist drainage machinery became the best option.

"I had already hired in some of Shelton's drainage equipment for previous works and had been impressed with the quality of their build and the equipment's functionality. This gave me confidence that they would be the company to approach when purchase became the next stage."
