Headland Amenity recently played host to the Haifa Chemicals (Northern Europe) Greenpower Conference.

Held at the Woburn Estate in Bedfordshire, delegates included Senior Haifa personnel alongside European Greenpower distributors. They were welcomed by John Clarke, Courses Manager at Woburn Golf Club and Mark Hunt, Technical Director of Headland Amenity.

After being introduced to the fascinating history of the Woburn Estate and the Dukes of Bedford, delegates were shown the unique environment and conditions on Woburn's Golf Club's Courses.
John talked attendees through the agronomic requirements at Woburn and led a tour of the Dukes Course as well as viewing tournament preparation for the upcoming British Masters (8-11 October) on the Marquess course.

The Conference took place over two days and also featured visits to Gog Magog Golf Club near Cambridge and Huntingdon Racecourse. At Gog Magog, Course Manager Andrew Howarth explained the issues connected with successfully managing a course within a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).
