R&K KENSETT LTD TO CLOSE
Ceasing trading on June 13th
A statement on the Pitchcare website has announced that R&K Kensett Ltd, fine sportsturf specialists, and UK and Europe distributors of the Graden scarifier range of machines, will be closing down and will cease to trade on June 13th 2014.
The statement said that following the sad death of Keith Kensett in September, who was the driving force behind the company; Keith's wife Jane, and sons Richard and Joe were sad to confirm their decision to make preparations to bring R&K Kensett to an end.Richard, Keith's son explained to Pitchcare; "The business has remained successful since dad died; proving the business he built from nothing was a credit to him. "This is largely down to our wonderful and reliable staff who have continued to work as tirelessly as they always have, and with the upmost professionalism. However, without dad's drive and passion, it's just not the same for us as a family, so we have decided that for us, it's time to call it a day". "R&K Kensett will continue to sell Graden Machines and parts until the last day 13th June, (subject to stock availability) and will look to work closely with the new Graden distributor as and when they are appointed to ensure a smooth transition for our valued customers. "Our maintenance and contracting contracts will be resumed by our existing and experienced staff, who have decided to start up their own companies. "Thank you for your support over the years."
