WORLD'S WORST GROUNDSMEN FOUND!
In Norway's 7th tier of football

According to a report in The Mirror, the "world's worst groundsmen" have been found working in the 7th tier of Norwegian football!

Described by the paper as a pair of "jokers" some sympathy does seem warranted for Quang Minh Ha and Nick Duy Do.

Apparently they were tasked just 30 minutes before the match between Julebygda and Riska 3 kicked off, to paint lines for the pitch. The problem was, they had no proper equipment with them or the time to do a proper job - so instead they did it all by eye. And these were the results . . .

And to be fair, even The Mirror points out that most likely even (the surely soon to knighted) John Ledwidge of Leicester City, would struggle under those conditions!

"It's probably the first and last time we get this job," admitted Minh Ha.

There was also an issue with the two penalty spots - one being 13 metres away and the other just eight metres!

Riska 3 eventually ran out 3-1 winners. No word on where these boys finished in the Norwegian Groundsman of the Year competition though!
