KUBOTA STRENGTHENS MARKETING
Two new appointments to team

Kubota UK has strengthened its marketing team with the appointment of two new marketing executives.

Zoe King and Sulie Turner will be assisting Karen Tipping, the company’s marketing manager, to help further increase awareness of the Kubota brand by continuing to promote and support its products and services and its dealer network.

Commenting on the new appointments, Karen Tipping said: “Whilst the Kubota brand has a fantastic reputation in the compact tractor, groundcare and construction sectors, there is still a great opportunity for us to build on this further. In addition, our aim is to increase awareness and market share in new markets, particularly our recent drive into the mainstream agricultural sector.

“My vision is to create a centre of marketing excellence for Kubota UK that supports the first class solutions and aftercare service we provide by implementing the right marketing strategies to ensure the long term growth of the business. Zoe and Sulie will be instrumental in helping us deliver this and I am delighted to have them on board.

“Our job now is all about getting the brand out there more. There is a massive opportunity to build on what we have already achieved in our core sectors, whilst also supporting Kubota’s ambitious and aggressive drive into new markets.”

In their new roles under Karen, Zoe will be responsible for marketing support across Kubota’s Construction Equipment, Engines and Parts divisions, whilst Sulie will look after the company’s Groundcare and Agricultural divisions. This will include Kubota merchandising, product literature, events and exhibitions and dealer support.

Zoe joins the marketing team following an internal promotion having spent the last two and a half years within the sales administration team for Kubota Construction. Sulie, who previously worked as an events co-ordinator at the Kassam stadium, is also currently studying towards her Diploma in Professional Marketing.
