CLUB CAR TO SUPPLY HOME OF GOLF
Appointed by St Andrews

Club Car has been appointed the official supplier of St. Andrews Links Trust (SALT), one of the most distinguished golf complexes in the world and the Home of Golf.

Club Car will play an integral role in the operation of SALT’s seven public courses, which includes the world renowned Old Course, a 29-time Open Championship venue, where golf has been played for more than 600 years.

L-R: Danny Campbell, commercial director at St. Andrews Links Trust and Marco Natale, vice president of Club Car in EMEA

“At the home of golf we pride ourselves on working with the very best suppliers and believe that, in Club Car, we have found the market leaders in golf car and utility vehicles,” said Danny Campbell, commercial director of SALT.

“We have a commitment to delivering memorable experiences for every golfer at the Links and believe this partnership will help us to achieve that objective.”

The new fleet comprises of Carryall utility vehicles and Precedent golf cars, all featuring the latest connected technology, Guardian 2.

The connected mobile information capabilities on the Club Car vehicles will provide a range of benefits to SALT's operations team and course maintenance staff, including car control features to reduce speeds or stop the cars entering specific zones, car tracking and messaging, live battery diagnostics and reports on each car.

“It is vitally important we maintain our impeccable standards of service for the thousands of golfers who visit the Home of Golf each year and we believe that with the new partnership with Club Car, SALT and all of the golfers that play our courses will benefit from the highest quality of service support,” Campbell said.

“Club Car’s historic association with many of the game’s leading organisations, golf destinations and tournaments around the world has allowed us to understand the specific needs of one of golf’s most iconic venues,” said Marco Natale, vice president of Club Car in EMEA.

“This experience enables Club Car, alongside our newly established distributor in Scotland, MTS, to be able to provide the top class service and operational support required to ensure this unique relationship with SALT develops into a trusted partnership over the coming years."
