FATALITY AT APF EXHIBITION
Accident during set up last Tuesday

APF Exhibition
Last Tuesday (September 13) afternoon during the set up for the APF forestry machinery exhibition at Ragley Estate, Warwickshire, a member of the show's staff was involved in a fatal accident.

A statement from the show's organisers said he received immediate First Aid treatment by the on-site St John Ambulance staff and was subsequently flown to Birmingham Hospital for further treatment. Tragically, despite the best efforts of the doctors, he died Tuesday evening around 9pm.

Police attended the incident and are investigating the full causes of the accident and the Health & Safety Executive have been informed. As this is an ongoing investigation the organisers of APF say they will be unable to comment further at this stage.

The Exhibition went ahead as planned, running from Thursday to Saturday.

The statement from the organisers concluded, "The APF Demo Team’s thoughts are very much with the family at this time and it is their wish that APF 2016 continues."
