STIHL sponsored the BIAZA (British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums) Plant Working Group Conference which took place 29 September - 1 October 2015.

The conference, held at Marwell Zoo, focussed on paddock management including tree protection and animal welfare related to plants and landscapes.
STIHL contributed to the event which saw more than 40 people including delegates, sponsors and speakers from around the country gather at the park. Delegates included ZSL London, Bristol Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo, Chester Zoo, Newquay Zoo, Paignton Zoo, Banham Zoo, Marwell Zoo, Beale Park, Amazona Zoo, Sparsholt College and Woburn Safari Park.
On opening day, STIHL, along with other event sponsors Barenburg, Barcham and Ubiqutek, held live demonstrations and talks. The manufacturer demonstrated its cordless tool range that boasts extremely quiet operation - ideal for noise sensitive areas such as wildlife parks, schools, hospitals and public gardens.
