STIHL contributed to the event which saw more than 40 people including delegates, sponsors and speakers from around the country gather at the park. Delegates included ZSL London, Bristol Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo, Chester Zoo, Newquay Zoo, Paignton Zoo, Banham Zoo, Marwell Zoo, Beale Park, Amazona Zoo, Sparsholt College and Woburn Safari Park.

Lance Ingram, Head of Plants and Landscapes at Marwell Zoo, said, "Here at Marwell Zoo the animals' wellbeing is at the forefront of all the decisions we make. That's why we have been in close conversation with STIHL - the cordless range of tools is not only reliable for jobs around the park; they are extremely quiet to boot. Animals can get frightened by loud noises and the public can get distracted from their experience here, so these incredibly quiet tools are ideal for our maintenance work. It also helps that the tools are have no emissions - keeping the environment clean and comfortable for all our inhabitants," says Lance.
Head of Marketing at STIHL GB, Simon Hewitt, said, "It goes without saying that today's gardener is aware of their impact on the environment. STIHL goes to great lengths to ensure its products are continually becoming more eco-friendly and the battery-powered products are a great example of this. STIHL is very proud to align with the BIAZA conference and such an important topic as this."
