KENT CCC HOLD OPEN EVENT
Grass Group are solo machinery exhibitor

Kent County Cricket Club recently held an open event at their new-look County Ground in Beckenham entitled 'One Day, One Game'.

More than 100 cricketers, coaches, officials and groundsmen attended the day. However, only one machinery company demonstrated a range of equipment - The Grass Group.

The day was designed to bring the complete cricketing family together on one packed day to include coaching workshops; advice from the ECB; a tour of the new facilities; and the innovations brought to the cricket market by Advanced Turf Technology (ATT).

Following the series of lectures, The Grass Group took the Groundsmen outside to demonstrate the ATT INFiNiSystem at work on the cricket outfield. Various SMART cassettes from the 10 available within the TMSystem were on display.

Commenting on the event The Grass Group's Tim Merrell said, "It was a huge privilege to be the only machinery supplier asked to attend the day and it was great to see all sides of the sport come together with the common goal of informing visitors of the latest industry developments. We were lucky with the weather, it was a sunny day and we received lots of interest in the units we displayed."
