SUSPECTED FRAUDULENT WEBSITE
For outdoor powered machinery
GGP UK have alerted us to another suspected fraudulent website purporting to sell outdoor powered machinery online.
Currently www.gardener-tools.com is listing numerous Mountfield, John Deere, Honda, Stihl and other manufacturer products at low prices. Suspiciously all prices are in Euros.
Adam Godfrey, Marketing Manager at GGP UK Limited, told us, "The only payment method on the site is bank transfer - so no comeback for any unlucky customer. "They claim to be 'the Midlands premier lawnmower and garden machinery centre', yet the only address is in London. The only contact number is a mobile and the registrant of the domain name is hidden. "I have just reported it to Action Fraud, although I’m not sure what they will do about it, or how quickly anything will happen."
