LANDSCAPE NEW STARTERS CONFERENCE
13-14 September, Battersea Park, London
The LANDSCAPE New Starters Conference, in conjunction with Perennial, takes place inside the Evolution Centre within Battersea Park, London on September 13th and 14th. Who should attend? If you are studying or starting in area of horticulture then the organisers say this free conference is for you. You’ll benefit from the series of quick-fire talks from industry professionals. Take inspiration from their personal stories and learn from their challenges! The conference is aimed at everyone just starting out on their career paths in a hope it will provide focus and the chance to see what opportunities are available in this fantastic industry of ours.

Starting at 11am, the conference will showcase these speakers, giving a platform for different viewpoints and job skills. It will be facilitated by Neville Stein. Neville is just about to celebrate his 40 years in the industry. His consultancy, “Ovation” is well known in the land-based sector and in addition he is a trustee for Perennial.
There will be additional input from major Trade Associations on career opportunities available and study options. Including APL, CIH, HTA and SGD. Free Job Fair 2pm - Wednesday 14th September 2016
The New Starters Conference will be followed by the LANDSCAPE Job Fair. As part of the LANDSCAPE Youth Initiative Programme, this year’s LANDSCAPE Show will again hold the free Job Fair. Aimed specifically at those newly started in the industry who are looking for employment, the Job Fair provides a free opportunity for employers to meet face to face with potential job candidates who are already focused and skilled.
The Job Fair will be supported by Trailblazers the Governments backed Apprenticeship Scheme and many companies who support the scheme will be present offering Apprenticeship positions.
