Rushmere Golf Club, in Ipswich, Suffolk, has seen a new TYM tractor come on board, marking part of a wider £140k machinery renewal agreement with Lely Turfcare.

Michael Buck, assistant greenkeeper, Patrick Swinn, head greenkeeper, Julian Copping, Lely Turfcare, and Bob Tawell, secretary manager, with Rushmere's new TYM tractor
The deal has seen the club, which boasts a historic 6200-yard course, renew the lease on half of its Toro fleet, as well as purchase both previously leased and new equipment, which alongside Toro mowers, includes the new TYM.
Bob Tawell, general manager said, "Feedback from our greenkeepers has all been positive; the TYM has been running smoothly from the moment it arrived, and all of the team have found it particularly easy to handle, no matter what the job," explains Bob.
Replacing two old tractors of a different brand, Bob says that since its arrival, the T503 has been put to good use by the club's three-strong greenkeeping team, led by head greenkeeper Pat Swinn.
Employed for top dressing, moving sleepers and other heavy materials, and for hollow tining, it also handles most of the maintenance work on site.
