GAVIN JONES LTD BUYS FELLOW LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR
Norris & Gardiner acquired

After several months of formalising a trading alliance, landscape contractor Gavin Jones Ltd has now completed the acquisition of the Norris & Gardiner brand.

Will Clark, md of Gavin Jones Ltd and Richard Gardiner of Norris & Gardiner

N&G will continue to trade independently under the direction of Richard Gardiner and his team, but as a wholly owned subsidiary of Gavin Jones Ltd - with the support of Simon Jacob and Will Clark from Gavin Jones Ltd as Co-directors. Norris & Gardiner will continue to focus their efforts on their local authority clients, where the brand’s particular reputation for quality service and expertise lies.

Richard Gardiner said, "As time went on it became more and more apparent that the future of Norris & Gardiner would be best placed as part of the Gavin Jones organisation - avoiding duplication of fees for a variety of services and memberships and thus reducing overheads. Effectively this solution provides “business as usual” but with cost-saving benefits for clients and greater career development opportunities for staff - a true win-win situation for everyone”.

Will Clark, MD of Gavin Jones Ltd, said, “This initiative has proven good for both businesses - the synergies between our organisations were simply too over-whelming to resist and the acquisition of the well-respected Norris & Gardiner brand has brought with it an increasing capability to offer the broad range of integrated horticultural services for which Gavin Jones has become renowned”.
