SYMBIO APPOINT

Jeremy (Jez) Hughes

Symbio is pleased to announce two new appointments to its management team.

Kerr Hunter BSc. has been promoted to Business Development Manager for UK and Ireland to manage Symbio's Regional Technical managers in the UK and Ireland. Kerr joined Symbio 3 years ago and has made a major contribution to Symbio's market development.

Kerr comments "This is an exciting time for me working with Symbio. Customer demand for creating healthy soils with biological products and biostimulants has increased rapidly over the last few years, both in the UK and across Europe. The sports turf industry now recognises good soil biology plays a major role in cost effective maintenance. I made major improvements to my course using Symbio's products and look forward to helping our customers across the UK and Ireland get great results too. Kerr may be contacted on 07966786743

Jeremy (Jez) Hughes (pictured) has joined Symbio as the newest member of Symbio regional management team, looking after customers in the West Midlands and North West and North Wales.

Jeremy says " With financial constraints and reduced pesticide availability the sports turf industry is starting to realise that improving soil biology is the key to healthier turf and the most cost effective path to follow to reduce physical disruption and chemical inputs. After seeing the benefits from my Symbio program as Course Manager at Vale of Llangollen the decision to join the established market leading company was not a difficult one. I see my new role at Symbio as an excellent personal and professional development opportunity"

Jeremy is well known to many in the industry because of his contribution to the industry as a member on the main board of BIGGA. He can be contacted on 07554668423.

Symbio's MD Martin Ward's view is "It takes exceptional people to introduce new technologies into an industry and we are very pleased to have Kerr and Jeremy helping our customers produce excellent playing surfaces for their players"
