NEW ROUND OF AMENITY FORUM EVENTS
Free updating sessions
The Amenity Forum is once again running a series of free updating events at locations across the UK.
Alan Spedding, Secretary of the Amenity Forum says, "These events are designed to provide updates on policy issues, education and training and sprayer testing and operation. This year they will also include information on integrated control approaches, just what does this involve, why you should know and a guide to implementing."
Speakers are drawn from the Chemicals Regulation Directorate, BASIS Registration, the Sports Turf Research Institute and the National Sprayer Test Scheme. Each are hosted by a member organisation of the Amenity Forum with some sponsorship from the Agricultural Engineers association.
The first event is in Lincolnshire and will be held at Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop in Grayingham on January 26th and will be hosted by Agrigem. Alan says, "This is a great opportunity for everyone involved in the sector at whatever level or area. The events are open to all. We just request that you register in advance so we can ensure sufficient capacity and related arrangements." If you wish to attend this event and require further information, contact Alan.Spedding@amenityforum.net
Full information on all the events is available at www.amenityforum.co.uk or by contacting Alan.
John Moverley, Independent Forum Chairman, says, "This year, even more than previous, is a time to attend our updating events, not just for the quality of information and networking available, but also so we can send out a strong message of the sector commitment to best practice, the vital importance of the work undertaken and the real professionalism"
