Superbowl grounds crew paint both endzones for the Broncos!
It's the Superbowl this coming Sunday and it appears that the grounds crew in Santa Clara have forgotten that the Carolina Panthas are also playing!
Pictures have emerged which seem to show that the grounds team at the Levi Stadium in California had painted both endzones for the Denver Broncos.
The Bronco's logo can be faintly seen at the Panther's end in this pic from James Martin's Twitter
The Daily Mail reported that the pictures showed one end zone painted dark blue, with orange letters spelling out the word 'Broncos' emblazoned across it. But oddly, the other end zone remained unpainted.On closer inspection however, it can be seen that the faint remains of the Broncos logo and lettering can be seen at the Panthers' end.
Samuel Lam posted this picture on his Twitter showing the Broncos logo at one end and a faint version of the same at the other
The pictures emerged from the Twitter accounts of sports reportors who were visiting the stadium ahead of the game.
The Panthers, who are favourites to win the game, need not be too concerned though as the error has already been fixed. CBS Sports reports that the painting was completed on Thursday last week.
