Southampton FC finished the season with a best-ever points haul of 56 yesterday- and the team's success was matched by the efforts of Grounds Manager Andrew Gray and his team who prepared another spectacularly designed pitch ahead of the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Saints' official Twitter feed previewed the circular design ahead of the game, saying, "'Wondering how @adgray13 and his team could top last weekend's pitch design? Here's the answer... #saintsfc"
This followed a spectacular tartan effort which the team cut in for the Everton home game.
However, Andy is not one to sit back and admire his handiwork, an update on his Twitter account this morning shows the pitch in a state of removal for renovations.
