Charterhouse Turf Machinery, supported by dealer Lister Wilder and Rigby Taylor, have held the first of a series of demonstration dates with an event at Worplesdon Golf Club.



Over 70 turf professionals gathered on the day to hear about 'organic matter reduction' from the STRI and 'seed for golf greens and profile granules' from Rigby Taylor before the outdoor demonstrations began.

Put through their paces were Redexim's Speedbrush; Core Collector; Turf Tidy; Overseeder; VertiDrain powered by the self-propelled Carrier; Rink Topdresser and Graden products both pedestrian and PTO driven. James Webster let the group know about 'ecological and habitat management' and Club Secretary Chris Lomas gave an insight to 'both sides of the green'.

Nick Darking for Charterhouses was MC for the day and was delighted with the attendance. Next venue is Canterbury Golf Club on May 28th with the added bonus of an appearance by Billy McMillan.
