Rigby Taylor has been appointed preferred supplier for the next two years to Rockliffe Hall Championship Golf Course in County Durham.
Supplanting the former agreement between the club and a major competitor, Rigby Taylor will now supply Rockliffe Hall with its range of fertilisers, grass seed, speciality and chemical products, as well as aggregates and dressings.

The company will also provide the club with technical advice, staff training and agronomic reports, and will work with it on trial plots for Rigby Taylor materials under development.
As a consequence, interested parties will also be invited to view the trials, in conjunction and agreement with the club’s Course Manager Pete Newton and Golf & Estates Director Davy Cuthbertson.
Commenting on the agreement, Pete Newton said: “Rigby Taylor was selected as a preferred supplier because of the great customer service it offers and the company’s ‘we want you attitude’. The availability to develop my own bespoke mixes of liquid fertilisers and soil drenchers is a big plus, as is the ability to add other elements to them. The Rigby Taylor team seems excited to be a part of the Rockliffe adventure, which bodes well for the future.”
Mark Whiting, Rigby Taylor’s National Sales Director, added: “We look forward to working with Davy, Pete and the team - not simply to ensure the course is maintained to its maximum, but to capitalise on the ability to work with Pete who has kindly agreed to assist us in carrying out trials of forthcoming products we are looking to add to our range.”
