Regional Service Technician
A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Technician based at the Briggs & Stratton office in Winsford, Cheshire. The scope of the role is to provide general technical support of the Engine, Spare Parts and Home Power business for the UK/Ireland market. The key areas of responsibility in this role are: - Provide technical support to distributors, dealers and OEMs by telephone
- Create and deliver training programmes for the distributor and dealer channel in a classroom environment
- Handle warranty claims and liaise with dealers and Head Office in warranty related matters
- Updating of training material / technical documentation
Skill Requirements: - Good organisational skills in order to manage several tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
- A professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- IT skills should include the use of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good training skills will be beneficial for delivering dealer training
