NINE GOLF TEE PROJECTS COMPLETED
Across the south by Speedcut

Speedcut Contractors have come through a busy winter and have been working on many projects on golf tees through to April this year.

Speedcut Contractors working at Foxhills GC

A major project was carried out at Foxhills Golf Club, Surrey, where the Speedcut team completely rebuilt three sets of tees, as part of a phased tee levelling program.

In addition, path improvement works were carried out to make it easier for golfers to move around the course. This along with previous improvements has helped Foxhills get their Longcross Course listed in the 2015 Top 100 English Courses.

At Moor Park Golf Club, Hertfordshire, the Speedcut team have worked with the club to regrade four tees on the course, whilst work was carried out at the Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club, Dulwich, where the team worked on the course that was designed by renowned course architect Harry S Holt, rebuilding and restructuring the 8th tee.

The second of three tee projects based in Surrey saw the team go to West Hill Golf Club, where they laser graded and seeded a new practice tee that was built by the club's staff.

Speedcut returned to fellow Surrey based Reigate Golf Club, and worked in conjunction with the greens staff to level two more tees on the course.

Canterbury GC

As if this wasn't enough, other projects completed so far this year include a complete re-build of the 9th tees at Pyecombe GC, two complete sets at The Dyke and Canterbury GC, another Colt gem, where the 4th and 8th Tees were re-laid and finally; Broke Hill GC which has had four Tees levelled on the 2nd, 11th and 12th holes.
