CUTTING EDGE IN NORTHERN IRELAND
Cyril Johnston renew leading presence in professional turfcare market
Having relinquished the Toro main distributionship in Northern Ireland a few years ago, Cyril Johnston & Co re-established its groundscare division two years ago, and according to sales director David Johnston, has made significant inroads into the golf course, contracting, local authority and sports club sector across the six counties.
The division is built around the Baroness range of fine turf pedestrian mowers, fairway mowers and specialist mowers. "We have been delighted at the reception from greenkeepers and groundsman across the country" says David Johnston "The Baroness name is starting to be recognised as a real alternative to the established major brands". The company has already supplied machines to a number of leading golf courses in Northern Ireland including the flagship courses of Royal County Down and Royal Portrush.
To support the Baroness range, Cuyril Johnston has added the likes of Billy Goat, Pellenc, Etesia, AS Mowers, Kaaz, Bomford, Wisconsin - as well as selected models from the Toro / Hayter line-up.
Cyril Johnston, established over 60 years ago, is located at Carryduff, six miles to the east of Belfast and has a one of the largest garden machinery showrooms in the country, as well as a comprehensive hire division started in 1988
