FAMILY FIRM SUPPLY WORLD CUP
Pitchmark products in use at all stadia

A family-run business is supplying line marking paint and equipment to all 12 stadiums and 32 training centres for the World Cup in Brazil.

Pitchmark has won international acclaim by supplying their products to the sports industry worldwide.

Managing directors Mark and Sue Rodman, who founded the company in 2010, run the business with their sons Darren and Tim, and family friend Jon Griffiths.

Pitchmark landed the World Cup deal after several market visits and having worked closely with their Brazilian distributor.

Mark said: "We were able to convince the Local Organising Committee and the STRI that our products were the only choice for a sporting event as huge as the World Cup.  We're extremely proud."

This order came soon after Pitchmark appointedtheir first exclusive UK distributor: Countrywide Farmers' Turf and Amenity division.

In just four years Pitchmark have expanded their global reach exponentially. Through a network of distributors the company now exports to over 20 countries across four continents.

Sue, who is the company Finance Director, said: "All our machines are hand assembled here in Bristol to extremely high standards. Our export customers know and like the fact that British made products are good quality."

Darren, who acts as the customer support manager, said their popularity is down to understanding what it's like to work on pitches. He said, "Our wealth of experience helps ensure we continue to offer the best products on the market."

All three Rodman men have worked as groundsmen and between them have over 30 years' experience.

Darren added: "Our innovative products are all designed in-house with the end user always in mind."
