We are currently searching for the role of:-

Dealer Managers - Agriculture

The role of Dealer Manager reports directly to the Business Development Manager – Agriculture and is a home based role.

The main responsibilities of the role are to:-

  • Implement and maintain the sales strategy for agricultural machines in order to achieve territory sales and gross margin targets
  • Motivate dealer principles, their sales managers and staff to meet our sales objectives
  • Constantly seek new business opportunities
  • Collate market research data in conjunction with the dealers
  • Organise field demonstrations with the relevant demonstrator as required
  • Ensure dealer staff are fully up to date on new Kubota products and also those of our competitors
  • Provide information and plan training for dealers and sales staff, highlighting features and competitive advantages of new and existing products to increase product knowledge and achieve increased sales.
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, dealer meetings etc to promote the products
  • Assist in the resolution of dealer enquiries and complaints and maintain effective working relationships with dealers and customers
  • Gather and analyse industry and competitive sales information to make recommendations for strategies to increase company sales

The key knowledge/experience/requirements we require for this role are:-

  • Extensive knowledge of the agricultural tractor industry and its products.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written, including report writing
  • Proven experience as a confident presenter/trainer
  • Extensive knowledge of competitive products
  • Excellent time management
  • Mechanical aptitude including the ability to operate equipment competently
  • Strong IT skills including the Microsoft package
  • Full driving licence
