RVT'S SUCCESSFUL OPEN DAY
More than 1000 guests attend

Draw raised £450 for Air Ambulance

As well as welcoming over 1,000 guests to their annual open day, Rea Valley Tractors were delighted to be presented with a surprise award from John Deere this week.

John Deere’s Agricultural Division Sales Manager Joedy Ibbotson awarded the team across all four depots with Certificates of Excellence for product specialism in Combines, Self-Propelled Forage Harvesters and Sprayers. The award, which recognises best practice in these highly complex machines was presented on Tuesday at RVT’s Shrewsbury depot whilst the open day was taking place.

To achieve this accolade RVT staff have successfully reached a number of goals including specialist training, demonstrations and an excellent customer care process.

It comes in the same month as two of Rea Valley’s technicians graduated in this year’s John Deere Ag Tech advanced apprenticeship. Third year students Richard Jones at Shrewsbury depot and David Leath from the Newport depot received their certificates at the John Deere Forum visitor centre in Mannheim, Germany during a specially arranged visit to the company’s tractor and cab factories and European Parts Distribution Centre.

Customers who visited the dealership’s open day last week had the opportunity to talk face to face to the teams in sales service and parts as well as the many manufacturers who were present including John Deere, JCB, Vaderstad, Joskin, Gregoire Besson, Bailey Trailers and Amazone.

One very happy customer even walked away winning a brand new John Deere lawnmower in a prize draw which raised over £450 for Midlands Air Ambulance.
