LLOYD PENRITH EXTENDS REACH
For New Holland in NW England

In this its 52nd year, Lloyd Ltd has extended its representation of New Holland Agriculture into the Kendal and Carnforth areas, building on the coverage from its extensive branch network across the North of England and South of Scotland.

The Cumbrian-based machinery sales specialists will serve these additional locations from its Penrith branch supported by mobile operations for servicing and parts.

With the current Penrith branch scheduled to be moved to modern, purpose-built premises on the town’s Gilwilly Industrial Estate by Spring 2017, the company say the extension of their remit has come at the perfect time. Lloyd Ltd as a Group has been awarded Large Volume Tractor and Harvester Dealer of the Year for three of the past four years, most recently in 2015, making it a significant part of New Holland’s national dealer network.

New Holland say they trust Lloyd Ltd to develop its position in the South Lakes area, striving to give it the impressive market share that their tractors, combine harvesters and balers have in the rest of Lloyd Ltd’s regions.

Simon Miller, Dealer Principal of Lloyd Ltd Penrith, commented, “We are delighted to be taking on this additional territory and look forward to building it into a New Holland stronghold. We have no doubt that the combination of our sales and support experience at Lloyd Ltd and New Holland’s innovations will impress farmers, contractors and groundcare specialists in our new area and we look forward to working with them.”

New Holland Agriculture UK&ROI Business Director Andrew Watson added, “We have enjoyed a close and successful relationship with Lloyd Ltd for many years now which has served New Holland, Lloyd Ltd and their farmer customers well.  As one of our key dealers, the professional nature of the Group has been recognised by their winning the New Holland Large Volume Tractor and Harvester Dealer of the Year for three of the past four years. We look forward to developing our relationship further as they expand their territory.”
