STIHL DRAW THE CROWDS AT HAMPTON COURT
Demo new Compact Cordless System

Exhibiting for more than two decades at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show, STIHL GB has once again impressed show-goers this week with live demonstrations of the new STIHL Compact Cordless System.

STIHL at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2016

The STIHL Compact Cordless System is a new range of battery powered products which the company say is designed with the home gardener in mind - the first of its kind for STIHL. Consisting of a cordless chainsaw, hedge trimmer, grass trimmer and leaf blower, the new range is aimed at those who want their garden to be 'less work, more play'.

Visitors to the STIHL stand enjoyed live demonstrations of the System's MSA 120 C-BQ cordless chainsaw as well as professional advice on the new range from STIHL's team of experts. Also on display were the new VIKING iMow robotic mowers and STIHL's extensive range of cordless and petrol powered gardening tools.

Jane Moore, Head Gardener at The Bath Priory, said, "When STIHL brought this new system out it was a no-brainer for me to start using them - both at work and at home. For me it makes a lot of sense - they don't take up much room, they store away neatly when you're not using them and with one quick charge I'm ready to go."

Each tool in the Compact Cordless System is available as a set with a charger and one of two new batteries, each of which has a different energy capacity. For convenience and cost-effectiveness, the batteries are compatible with all tools in the system.

Powered by long-lasting Lithium-Ion batteries, Stihl says the system gives gardeners freedom from bothersome cables so they can roam and maintain their garden at will. The convenience of the battery powered system becomes clear as while the battery swiftly charges, the gardener can take a quick break from work before starting the tool up once again.
