LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLE SHOW SET
DRIVEit@Bruntingthorpe July 7-9

DRIVEit@Bruntingthorpe

The UK's first and only dedicated Light Commercial vehicle show is set to return this summer and organisers promise it to be even better than last year.

DRIVEit@Bruntingthorpe is free to attend, with free parking, for all visitors and takes place on July 7-9, 2015, at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire. The event is unique in that it is not just a static show - it features over six miles of test routes where the very latest that the LCV market has to offer can be sampled.

At least 13 major LCV manufacturers will be represented at the event, including Ford, Vauxhall, Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu, Renault, Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat. All manner of LCVs will be there, from small car-derived vans through to 7.5-tonners.

Thanks to the vast amount of space available on the day, visitors will be able to try out the vehicles on routes ranging from simulated town driving to motorway use, rough terrain and even a challenging off-road course for 4x4 vans and pick-ups. There is also a dedicated manoeuvring course for testing anti-collision systems and the latest parking aids.

All routes are designed to simulate the kind of use a vehicle may get in regular day-to-day business and help make the decision making process easier for buyers.

There will also be several other exhibitors offering products across the LCV industry, away from just LCV sales and service.

DRIVEit Event Director, Rob James, said: "Our event is the only one of its kind in the calendar and is rapidly becoming recognised as an essential day in the diary for light commercial vehicle buyers. As well as giving people the opportunity to network, it also allows them to get behind the wheel of various vans and CVs back-to-back and compare them, which is something you can't do in the showroom or online.

"If you're about to spend a significant sum of your company's money on vans, be it just the one or a whole fleet, it's great to know you can try them for size first and help along that decision making process, as well as meet the key people you'll need to know when you do decide to buy. It makes this event essential."
